Patrick Burris
Patrick is a retired competitive judoka who represented the United States at the 1972 Summer Olympic Games in Munich and the 1976 Summer Olympic Games in Montreal. He won the bronze medal at the 1975 Pan American Games in Mexico City in the men’s lightweight division at 70 kg. Burris is a five time US national senior AAU champion, including an unprecedented four straight championships. He was named 1976 US national Grand Champion (best in all weight classes) – the lightest Grand Champion ever.
Michael Dillard
Michael is the President of Black Belt Magazine. He is a lifelong martial artist having achieved the level of Black Belt in Chun Kuk Do over his 18 years of training. He also holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has spent many years training in Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Boxing, and Muay Thai. Dillard is part of the second-generation leadership for Black Belt’s parent company Century Martial Arts which also owns and operates the Martial Arts Industry Association (MAIA) and Gameness Fight Wear.
Matt & Mark Dodgen (Nearfall)
Established in 2009 by twin brothers (Mark and Matt Dodgen). Mark and Matt were both Oklahoma HS State Champs and later both NCAA D2 National Champs for the University of Central Oklahoma. With NEARFALL they wanted to create the highest quality products that the wrestling community can depend on.
